 My curiosity got the best of me and I actually contacted highly regarded Chase Jarvis for some incite, a photographer I've looked up to and respected for always stating he gives back to the photography community. This was his response:

"hey chris:  i get at least 40 such requests each day, so i'm unable to make anybody happy in this regard.  wish i had the time - hope you understand. but keep shooting. hope we cross paths someday." - Chase

As I said to him, I understand he's busy, as am I...I had red bull for breakfast this morning and I'm not kidding. I'll just say this. Photography (even microstock photography) is big enough for everyone, take every opportunity to answer questions and inspire and yes even promote those you look up to in this work and we'll all benefit. In the end, your work will sell itself.
